Rui and Tei are panda-looking space aliens launched to Earth from Planet J9.
Finding their favorite food, Meepwah (English translation: Rhubarb) takes them on many
curiously amusing misadventures and leads them to new discoveries of Earth's creatures.
Along for the ride are their pets PingPong, WallaWalla, Boing,
and Zoop who add comic relief on their adventures.
